What is a Surrogate QHHT® Session?
One of the questions I am sometimes asked is:
“What if someone I love cannot participate in a QHHT® session themselves?”
Life does not always allow everyone the opportunity to experience a Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique® (QHHT®) session directly. Some individuals may be unable to participate due to age, illness, injury, communication challenges, or other circumstances.
They may be:
A child
Elderly
Ill or recovering from illness
In a coma
Unable to communicate
Unable to hear or speak
For many families, this can create a deep desire for greater understanding, insight, and connection. This is where a Surrogate QHHT® Session may offer a unique opportunity to explore questions and seek guidance on behalf of a loved one.
What Is QHHT®?
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique® (QHHT®) was developed by the late Dolores Cannon after decades of research and experience working with thousands of clients around the world.
QHHT® guides a person into a deep and natural state of hypnosis where communication with the Higher Self may become possible. Many people refer to this aspect of consciousness as:
The Higher Self
Source
Universal Consciousness
The Universe
Divine Intelligence
Collective Consciousness
Through this connection, individuals often gain profound insights, understanding, healing perspectives, and answers to important questions.

How Does a Surrogate QHHT® Session Work?
In a Surrogate QHHT® Session, a willing and appropriate representative, typically a close family member, participates in the session on behalf of their loved one. During the session, the surrogate enters the QHHT® state, and questions regarding the loved one may be explored.
Families often seek greater understanding about:
Emotional or behavioural challenges
Health-related concerns
Family dynamics
Life purpose and soul lessons
Spiritual growth
Unresolved questions
Ways to provide better support and care
While every session is unique and individual experiences vary, many people report receiving valuable insights, comfort, clarity, and a broader perspective regarding their loved one’s situation.
Who May Benefit From a Surrogate Session?
Surrogate QHHT® Sessions may be considered when a loved one is unable to participate directly, including situations involving:
Children
Young children may not yet be able to comfortably participate in a full QHHT® session. A surrogate session may provide parents or guardians with insights that support greater understanding and compassion.
Elderly Loved Ones
As loved ones age, communication may become more difficult. Families often seek a deeper understanding of their experiences, needs, and wellbeing.
Illness or Recovery
When someone is facing significant health challenges or recovering from illness, family members may wish to explore questions relating to healing, support, and personal growth.
Coma or Reduced Conscious Awareness
In some circumstances, loved ones may be unable to communicate due to medical conditions. Surrogate sessions may offer families a sense of connection and understanding during difficult times.
Communication Challenges
For individuals who cannot easily communicate verbally, a surrogate session may provide an alternative avenue for exploration and insight.
What Can Be Asked During a Surrogate Session?
Each session is unique, but common questions may include:
What does this person most need right now?
How can we best support them?
Are there deeper lessons or purposes connected to their experience?
What can our family learn from this situation?
Is there guidance that may help us move forward with greater peace and understanding?
The focus is always approached with respect, compassion, and the intention of supporting the highest good of all involved.
What to Expect
Surrogate QHHT® Sessions are conducted in person and typically last between 6–7 hours.
The process includes:
A detailed pre-session conversation
Exploration of relevant questions
The QHHT® hypnosis experience
Communication with the Higher Self where available
Post-session discussion and integration
Many clients leave feeling a greater sense of peace, clarity, understanding, and connection.
A Compassionate Path Toward Understanding
When someone we love cannot speak for themselves or participate directly, it can leave us searching for answers. While no experience can replace direct communication, Surrogate QHHT® Sessions may provide an opportunity to explore deeper perspectives, receive guidance, and uncover insights that support healing, understanding, and connection.
If you have been considering a Surrogate QHHT® Session for a family member or loved one, this may be the perfect time to explore this unique and profound experience.
